This was a special passion project. My aunt was debuting her first novel with her publisher Sourcebooks and was a marketing newbie. I put together a strategy for her Chicago book stop as well as research on the literary landscape of Chicago as she is based out of Philadelphia and her agent is based in New York.

Ultimately the book did so well from the word go that they cut the tour short as she received invitations for exclusive opportunities at festival panels. She is currently hard at work on her second novel.  

The Ghost and the Governor

A self-published author of many genres, Catherine MacDonald was looking for help launching her latest book after years away while running a business.

Together with the author and her web designer, I worked on promoting her book ‘The Ghost and the Governor’. I crafted an awareness-raising campaign utilizing social media strategy channels, PR tactics, email engagement, industry promotions, and her author pages on Amazon and Goodreads.
